Funded 2 Year Old Provision

We are increasing our Funded 2 Year old Provision!

We will soon be able to offer even more funded 2 year old places at Millbrook School.  If you are interested in your child joining us please let us know.  Currently we are anticipating admitting our extra 2 year olds in March or April of 2022.

What is funded early education and childcare?

For those eligible the government funds free childcare for eligible 2 year olds. This works out as 15 hours a week, either 5 mornings or 5 afternoons during term time.

All eligible two year olds are able to apply for a place to start the term after their birthday.

If your child is two you are eligible if you are claiming any one of the following:

• Income Support
• Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
• Income related Employment and Support Allowance
• Support under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
• The Guaranteed element of State Pension Credit
• Child Tax Credit with earnings from employment below £16,190
• Working Tax Credit with earnings from employment are below £16,190
• Universal Credit - if you and your partner are on a low income from work (this usually means a combined income of less than £15,400 a year after tax)
