Together, Famly and MCAS help us keep families informed, supported, and connected every step of the way.

The Famly app is designed especially for early years and is used here at Millbrook in Nursery and Reception. It is also used for Minikids, Minikids Holiday Club & Big Kids Club. It is fully encrypted & GDPR-compliant allowing parents/carers & us access to important information quickly.
Famly gives our parents & carers a warm, visual window into their child’s day with updates, photos, messages from staff, care routines, accident forms, and easy booking for Minikids wrap around and holiday club sessions. It’s quick, friendly, and flexible—perfect for our youngest children and their families.

What does Famly do?

• Parents and Carers can report sickness, holidays, and update permissions, without the need for paperwork or a phone call. 

• Parents and Carers can see their child(ren)s daily activity (signing in and out times, nappy changes, sleep times & meals), access pictures, videos, observations and announcements via the newsfeed, their child’s profile, and direct messages. Parents/carers can also choose to receive notifications about these events too.

• Parents & Carers stay involved in their child’s day with real-time updates straight to their phone. They can access their child(ren)s learning journey to see observations and to write their own!
• Extra nursery sessions, wrap around care & holiday club days can all be requested via Famly (subject to availability).

• Viewing bookings & paying invoices can be completed via the app.

We will send you a login link when your child is invited for their stay and play, settling in session.

The MCAS app is used throughout our school from nursery right up to Year 6, giving parents a simple, reliable way to stay connected. It helps streamline everyday school admin and keeps communication clear and consistent.

Through MCAS, our nursery families can book and pay for school lunches, and it is the platform through which you will receive your child’s end of year report. 

For children who continue at Millbrook after Nursery, from Reception onwards, it is used to give permissions, and to book and pay for all events and trips. It is also the main platform for school communications and news.
