Welcome to Our School
A message from our Head of School - Mrs Faye Charlton - It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to enjoy our school’s website, where I hope you find all information that you require. I have been Head of School here at Millbrook Primary School since 2019/20. I believe strongly in our newly redesigned and ambitious curriculum and reading culture, and I continue to be extremely proud of our incredible team that work tirelessly to ensure the best provision for all our children.
Our motto ‘Believe Achieve Succeed’ is a statement that we are incredibly committed to. Staff work hard to develop pupils’ independence through our 'Building Learning Powers' (BLP), growing their personal resilience and teaching them the strategies to be successful in the world today. Our school values of 'kindness' and 'responsibility' underpin the culture and climate of our school.
I do hope that you find our website helpful; however no amount of browsing can replace a visit to our school where I am confident you will agree that there is a real 'community' and 'happy' feel! If you are a prospective parent please do contact us to make an appointment to see the school in action.
If you cannot find the information you require on this website, please do contact the school using either the enquiry form or by telephoning the school office who will be happy to answer your questions or arrange a tour.

The Vale Academy Trust
Millbrook Primary School is proud to be part of the Vale Academy Trust, but what does this mean for the staff and children at Millbrook?
For our children, it is our collective promise to offer opportunity and a rich education no matter which school you attend within the Trust. Through sport, music, science, languages, computing, the arts, trips and visits, it is the chance to experience and learn new things. We endeavour to make the connection between what children are learning and the potential it has to shape their lives in the future.
For our staff, working together as a group of schools means that their professional development is paramount; if our teachers and staff are reflective in their approach and provided with the time and support to continue training, then our children will achieve more. As a Trust, our decisions and plans are rooted in evidence, research and innovation.
We are extremely proud of the ethos and community in our schools, shaped by our strap line ‘Building Brilliant Futures Together’, and the promise we make to all our children.
